सिकन्दर भारत आया तो उसने सुना भारत मे बहुत सिद्ध योगी रहते हैं।
खोज बीन करने के बाद वह एक महान योगीराज के पास कुछ दिन रहने लगा
और बहुत लगन और श्रद्धा से योगीराज की सेवा करने लगा।
कुछ समय बाद योगीराज ने उससे पूछा तुम कौन हो और क्या चाहते हो?
सिकन्दर ने नम्रतापूर्वक नत मस्तक होकर कहा योगीराज अगर अाप मुझ पर
प्रसन्न हैं तो मुझे सम्पूर्ण भूमंडल का राजा बना दीजिये।योगीराज ने कहा -
यह कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है किन्तु उससे पहले मेरी एक छोटी सी ख़्वाहिश है
मेरा यह कमंडल जो तुम देख रहे हो इसे अनाज से भर दो ,राजा ने कहा महाराज
यह तो कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है मैं इस कमंडल जवाहरातों से भर दूँगा।
इतना कहने के बाद उसने अपने अधिकारियों को हुक्म दिया मेरे ख़ज़ाने से
हीरे मोती माणिक्य पन्ना आदि सब जवाहरात लाये जायँ फिर क्या था कमन्डल में
जवाहरात भरने लगे किन्तु आश्चर्य की बात कमन्डल भरता ही नहीं था ख़ज़ाने के सारे रत्न
ख़त्म होने लगे। सिकन्दर दुखी होगया नतमस्तक उसने योगीराज को इसका रहस्य पूछा-
योगीराज ने कहा सिकन्दर यह मनुष्य की खोपड़ी है इसकी चाहत का कहीं अन्त नहीं।
तीनों लोक का ख़ज़ाना मिलने पर भी मनुष्य कभी तृप्त नहीं होता जब तक सन्तोष नहीं आता।
योगीराज ने कहा सिकन्दर कबीर साहब का कहना था
सब जग निर्धना रे मना धनवंता नहीं कोय
धनवंता सोई जानिये जिन घट सन्तोष समाय।
Human skull (Intelligence)
When Alexander came to India,
he heard that there are
many mystical yogis live in India.
After deep search he found very high mystical Yogi
and decided to stay with him in Ashram.
And started serving the Yogiraj with great dedication and devotion.
After some time the Yogiraj asked him who are you
and what do you want?
Sikandar humbly bowed his head and said
Yogiraj, If you are happy
then make me the king of the entire planet Yogiraj said
It's not a big deal but before that
I have a small wish which you should fulfil.
You see this is my reliquary
I wish you should fil this with grain.
Sikandar laughed and said this is not a big deal Sir.
I will fill it with all my precious gems from treasure.
Sikandar ordered his officers to bring
Gems from the treasury.
Without delay officers brought the gems
And started filling the reliquary
almost all the jewels were gone
but the reliquary was not filled.
Sikandar was tired and asked
to the yogi what is the secret of this?
Yogiraj said, Alexander,
this is the skull of a man,
there is no end to his desire.
Even after getting the treasures of the three worlds,
a man is never satisfied until satisfaction comes.
Yogiraj said listen Sikandar Kabir had said-
The entire world is poor from heart no one is rich
Until inner satisfaction and understanding comes.
