 I am looking at the open sky 

I am looking at the open sky 

Lightning is striking.

Like burning thousand volts of bulb.

In the black dark night.

Lighting showing lustre of its flame

Neither the net of stars nor the 

crowd of clouds is in the sky, 

Anxiously I am  watching horrified 

lighting from my bedroom.

देख रही हूँ खुले आसमान पर 

बिजली कड़क रही है जैसे जल

रहा हजारों वाल्ट का बल्ब 

काली अन्धेरी रात में दिखा रहा

अपना जलवा! आसमान के प्रांगण 

में न सितारों का जाल न घटाओं 

की भीड़ चिन्तित मैं अपने शयन कक्ष

से भयाकुल झॉक रही नजर लगाये।
