Those people are dead who beg.
But before them the people
Who refuge to give they are dead.
"रहिमन वे नर मर गये, जे कछु माँगन जाहि।
उनते पहिले वे मुये, जिन मुख निकसत नाहि॥"
रहीम कहते हैं वे मनुष्य मर गये जो किसीसे कुछ मॉगने जाते है।
किन्तु उनसे पहले वे मर गये जो देने से इन्कार करते हैं।
Rahim says misery is good,
which comes for a short time.
People can recognize
and differentiate friends and foes.
"रहिमन विपदा ही भली, जो थोरे दिन होय।
हित अनहित या जगत में, जानि परत सब कोय॥"
रहीम कहते हैं कि दुख अच्छा है, जो थोड़े समय के लिए आता है।
लोग मित्र और शत्रु की पहचान करा देता हैं।
