मन मेरा क्यों उदास?
सागर तट पर खड़ी जोह
रही बाट तुम्हारी प्रिय
कब आयेगी ख़बर
तुम्हारे आने की?
सदाबहार प्यार तुम्हारा
मेरे दिल में उमड़ता रहता है।
मापदण्ड नहीं इसका
असीम और अविस्मरणीय
प्यार तुम्हारा रक्त-
कोशिकाओं में बहता रहता है।
हृदय की गहराई में अदृश्य बसा है
प्यार तुम्हारा,
जैसे सोना पहाड़ों की गहराई में
मोती छिपा सागर के अन्तस्तल में।
सुन्दर मुख शीतल छाया कब चिर
हुए हैं जीवन में?
मेरी ऑखों की आशा'
प्रभापूर्ण छवि तुम्हारी,
प्रकाश फैलाती चारों तरफ।
जग के कोलाहल में त्रस्त विचार
चल रहे मेरे अन्दर असंख्य
बची हुई अतृप्त जीवन की
आशा कब होगी पूरण?
कब होगा तुमसे पुनर्मिलन?
