 "Our smile is past”

"Our smile is past

Seven days we rest in water.

Elegant long crystal vase

Occasionally water is changed. 

Spread strong scegnt in her home

Seven days in a row.

Friends and visitors 

whoever came,

Took long deep breath 

And wanted to keep 

Perfume forever within them.

We grew in her friend's 

Garden and came to her 

Place as a gift.

Her friend has hobby to garden

She takes good care of us.

A day came we observed disaster

Construction turned into deconstruction.

All our parts fall apart

Petals fall on the ground. 

Part of Pollen fall in water 

and part on the ground.

Sticks remain in the water.

She gathered all of us;

Petals from the ground 

With pollen and sticks

And put us in the bag together. 

We say good bye to her."

I was thinking one day my remains 

Will be gathered and flowed in water.

This is the story of our lives.

We are sad to see 

construction turn into deconstruction.

हमारी मुस्कुराहट अतीत है।

सात दिन हमने आराम किया

पानी में।

सुरुचिपूर्ण लंबे क्रिस्टल फूलदान में।

कभी-कभी जल का हुआ तबादला।

सारे घर में तेज महक ऐसी फैली,

अन्दाज़ जैसे इत्र की खुली रही कोई शीशी।

लगातार सात दिन,

मित्र स्वजन जो भी आए इनके घर, 

लंबी गहरी साँस लेते और 

ख़ुशबू को अपने भीतर रखने 

का करते प्रयास।

हम इनके वरिष्ठ मित्र के बग़ीचे में हुए विकसित।

और उपहार के रूप में आये इनके घर। 

इनके मित्र को फूलों और फलों में 

है गहन शौक़।

वे हमारी पुलकित मन से करती देखभाल।

एक दिन आया हमने संभावित 

आपदा का किया सामना।

बिछड़ गया पात पात अंग अंग।

पंखुड़ियां बिखरी जमीन पर 

पानी में गिरा पराग कुछ,

गिरा कुछ जमीन पर।

पानी में खड़ी रह गयीं ड़डियॉ।

इन्होंने हम सभी को एकत्रित 

किया एक साथ 

पंखुड़ियाँ पराग डंडियॉ।

और हम सबको रख दिया बैग में।

हम इन्हें कह रहे अलविदा। ”

व्यथित मन से कर रही एकत्रित 

मेरे मन लुभावने फूलों 

को कर रही विदा।

सोच रही थी मैं मन ही मन

ऐसे ही एक दिन मेरे अवशेष 

मेरे प्रियजन करेंगे एकत्रित 

करेंगे सागर में प्रवाहित।

यह हम सबकी है जीवन कथा

फिर भी होता शोक और होती व्यथा।

our moral should be very high.

The trunk of the tree should become stage.

The branches of this tree 

become musical instruments like 

Flute veena and many more.

Bhairavi raga play on Veena.

May our qualifications 

be helpful for human upliftment.

May joy and happiness be always in human life.

We should be fortified with rampart of 

our good conduct and compassion.

May our qualification assist the society 

to become elite and joyous.

The jealousy and greed 

should not touch us.

We should be honest and efficient.

Awaken integral part of our body.

मानव हैं हम मानवीयता 

हमारा है सौरभ।

कुसुमों की तरह हम 

फैलायें पराग हमारा।

करें निछावर जन गण पर 

अपने गुणों का ख़ज़ाना ह

चरित्र हमारा कल्प तरु सम 

तरु का तना बने रंगमंच।

इस तरु की डार डार जैसे अभिन्न 

उपकरण हों वाद्य संगीत।

पत्तों की झंकार जैसे बाँसुरी का स्वर  

वीणा पर बज रही भैरवी राग

करुणा की छाया में सद्वयवहार 

बनें हमारा दरख़्त सदाबहार।

हमारी योग्यता सहायक हो,बने 

मानवीय उत्थान का साधन। 

उल्लास आह्लाद हो मानव जीवन में 

समाज बने कुलीन सम्भ्रान्त।

डाह क्लेश नहीं ब्यापे हममें,

व्यवहार कुशल हों हम सब लोग।

draw us towards progress.

As human our intention 

is to gain power 

to control abundance.

We have got tremendous 

facilities on this planet 

In return universe wants

अभिलाषाएँ खींचती हमें प्रगति की ओर।

जैसे नाटककार हमें भेजता रंगमंच पर 

हम किरदार निभाते अपना,

अन्य आते दूसरा किरदार निभाने।

कालचक्र कभी नहीं रुकता 

हम घुमते रहते सदा इसीमें अन्तर्गत

कभी कहीं कभी कहीं सब घूमते रहते हैं।

हम सब आते जाते रहते हैं कोई आगे कोई पीछे।

जैसे कभी सूर्य किरणें अम्बर में बिखरती,

तो कभी काले रेशम की चादर में चॉद का होता आगमन।

आकाश मंडल पर कभी सूर्यप्रकाश का साम्राज्य,

तो कभी चन्द्रमा फैलाता अपनी ज्योत्सना।

If there were no waves in the ocean

The atmosphere would have been distorted 

If there was no rain no forests and no farming 

If there were no children no hope was there 

If we were not there 

there would have no friendship 

There could be amiability.

If in life no joy and sorrow humanity could not exist 

There could not be harmony in life.

दुनिया में समृद्धि नहीं होती

अगर बादलों की घड़घड़ाहट नहीं होती

अगर हवा में सरसराहट नहीं होती

अगर रात में चॉद की शीतलता नहीं होती 

अगर पक्षियों का कलरव नहीं होता

अगर पानी मे कल कल की ध्वनि नहीं होती

अगर सागर में लहरें नहीं होती वातावरण विकृत होता 

अगर बरसात नहीं होती तो हरी भरी धरती नहीं होती

अगर बच्चों की चुलबुलाहट नहीं होती 

अगर आप हम नहीं होते मित्रता नहीं कलुषिता होती

for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

मुसीबत का मूल कारण हमारा संदेह-

दुनिया में बेवकूफ लोग संशयविहीन होते हैं। 

जबकि बुद्धिमान संदेह से भरे हुए होते हैं।

बहुत से लोग सुरक्षा के बारे में सोचते रहते हैं 

मैं आनेवाले कल के बारे में नहीं सोचता,अलबत्ता 

मैंने गत कल देखा है और मैं आज वर्तमान मे जी रहा हूँ

डरने से हम कुछ भी हासिल नहीं कर सकते,

हमें सतर्क रहना चाहिये,होनी तो होकर रहती है।

किसीने कहा है अनहोनी तो होनी नहीं 

होनी तो होकर रहेगी।

हमारा भाग्य हमसे कोई नहीं छीन सकता है।

Our children, their children, white children,

Black children and brown children.

Due to our stupidity of caste class creed religion

We are endangering the future of mankind.

Our intelligence and success lies in it,

Let us not divide the earth and human kind.

Discrimination of our emotions can affect 

Children's bright future.

Let us not destroy our children's bright future.

Love is the purest true form of the soul.

Once upon a Time in India Lord Krishna 

was playing eating with schedule cast. 

No class was define.

Lord Rama in his time was  

eating with schedule cast 

No clan was defined.

The playground in the nuclear parade ground

What are we missing by changing

We do not realize it.

Time is telling us that the 

foundation of our life is in danger.

We don't believe that we are not 

completely independent, 

we are an integral part of nature,

And our life depends on that.

Nature is the dominion of us.

Once upon a time, Mahatma Gandhi said

"Will take eyes in return

The whole world will go blind ”.

Humanity is going through a grave situation.

Whatever will happen is inevitable

but with our competence

धरती बच्चों के खेल का मैदान है,

जाति वर्ग धर्म की हमारी मूर्खता से 

मानव जाति का भविष्य खतरे में डाल रहे हम।

हमारी बुद्धिमानी और कामयाबी इसीमें है,

धरती मॉ को विभाजित न होने दें हम।

हमारे मनोभाव के भेदभाव से बच्चों के 

उज्जवल भविष्य का विभाजन न होने दें हम।

प्रेम आत्मा का सबसे शुद्ध सच्चा स्वरूप है ।

भारतवर्ष में राम कृष्ण के युग में जातिवाद और काले गोरे

में मतभेद का नहीं था राम ने भिलनी के घर बेर खाये

तो कृष्ण ने ग्वाल जाति संग बचपन बिताया।

खेल के मैदान को परमाणु परेड ग्राउंड में 

परिवर्तित करके क्या खो रहे हम 

इसका एहसास नहीं हमें।

समय कह रहा हमारे जीवन की नींव ख़तरे में है

हमें धारणा नहीं है कि हम मन मर्जी करने के लिए 

पूर्ण स्वतंत्र नहीं हैं हम प्रकृति का अभिन्न अंग हैं,

और उस पर हमारा जीवन निर्भर करता हैं।

हम पर प्रकृति का आधिपत्य है।

एक समय की बात है महात्मा गांधी ने कहा

"आँख के बदले में ऑंख लेंगे 

पूरी दुनिया अंधी हो जायेगी”। 

मानवता गम्भीर स्थिति से गुज़र रही है।

होना तो वही है जो होना है किन्तु,

हमारी क़ाबलियत से गत काल की 

इतिहास से सबक़ लें यही श्रेष्ठ है हमारे लिये।

सबसे बड़ी सिद्धि शांतिपूर्ण मन।

This is before dawn

Serene morning!

What a beautiful time!

No sound of rain water

It seems rain is tired

Taking rest and stopped.

No rain  no water.

No sound of storm (toophan)

Neither birds fluttering

No music of robins 

Footpaths are empty 

(no one walking)

No rustle no bustle

Just me and my thoughts

are with me,

What a beautiful time!!

The name is blue sky 

but it is absolutely dark

Empire of darkness.

The sun is away do not know 

When will he come?

The redness is far away 

from the horizon.

How much should I say the 

The earth has found peace.

There is relief from clamor.

She is resting in diamond 

pearl studded shiny black

comforter.

The earth must be happy 

under the beautiful comforter

The land is full of peace

Joy of unique atmosphere

The inner mind sunk in tranquility.

भोर का समय है क्या कहूँ मैं

इस वक्त की शालीनता का

कितना मनोहर वक्त है।

लगता है बरसते बरसते 

वर्षा के घुँघरू थम गये

नाम नील गगन है किन्तु

अँधियारे का साम्राज्य है।

भास्कर का पता नहीं 

अभी तो क्षितिज से

लालिमा अति दूर है।

कितना करूँ बखान

पृथा को मिली है शान्ति

कोलाहल से मिली है राहत।

हीरे मोती जड़ी चमकीली स्याह 

दोहड़ में कर रही आराम।

जल थल गगन सब हैं शान्त 

अनुपम वातावरण का आनन्द

निर्मल लगता अन्तर मन।

How to protect status?

Not to lose prestige

Fear of scorn

The body shivers

Heart beat is faster

Like a train engine

Complexed thoughts

Like spider web spreading

Most important to maintain respect.

If perfume bottle is not 

closed properly, 

the perfume will dry. 

Similarly if proper care  is not 

taken of reputation, will be lost.

I have to protect gained 

status with wisdom.

जब भाग्य छू रहा था गगन

मन में में हो रही थी कम्पन 

आबरू बचाने का जतन

प्रतिष्ठा न खोने का प्रयत्न

तिरस्कार से बचने का भय 

बदन में हो रही सिरहन

धड़क रही हृदय की धड़कन

जैसे चल रहा ट्रेन का इन्जिन

विचारों की जटिलता की उलझन

फैला रही मकड़ी का जाल

असमन्जस में खो न जाये सम्मान।

कश्मकश प्राप्य है इत्र समान

अगर परफ्यूम की बोतल 

नहीं ठीक से बंद, इत्र सूख जाएगा। 

इसी तरह अगर उचित देखभाल नहीं 

होगी  प्रतिष्ठा की, प्रतिष्ठा खो जाएगी।

Caged Bird

A caged bird

A bird locked in a cage

Gathers dry twigs and grass

In hope that one day 

She will be free and will 

Make her own nest.

Dreams she will have 

Beautiful home.

She will have babies in the nest

She will raise her children.

She will fly collects grain 

In  her beak will feed the children.

Will make them grow.

Will take care of them.

The time comes when baby

Grow up and grow big

The nest becomes small.

Children spread wings 

And a day come they fly 

Away from home.

One  day when the bird 

Returned home walked  

In the nest found deserted 

and empty nest.

Sad distressed poor sparrow 

Started loud screaming,

But there was no one 

to hear sparrow's cry.

चिड़िया पिंजरे में बन्द

सूखी टहनियॉ और घास 

इकट्ठा करती है,उम्मीद 

है एक दिन आज़ाद होकर वह 

अपना एक सुन्दर सा घर

(घोंसला) बनायेगी।

सुन्दर सा स्वप्न देखती है,

घोंसले में उसके बच्चे होंगे

बच्चों की वह करेगी परवरिश 

चुनकर दाना लायेगी 

बच्चों की खिलायेगी। 

उनको बड़ा करेगी,

उनकी करेगी देखभाल।

वक्त आता है जब बच्चे 

बड़े हो जाते हैं बढ़ते हैं और

घोंसला छोटा हो जाता है।

बच्चे पंख फैलाते हैं और 

उड़ जाते हैं।एक दिन जब 

चिड़िया दाना लेकर घर 

लौटती है और देखती है  

घोंसले में चहल पहल 

किलकारियाँ नहीं,

सूनसान खाली है घोंसला।

दुखी व्यथित ज़ोर ज़ोर 

से चीख़ने लगती है बेचारी गौरैया,

लेकिन वहॉ कोई नहीं था,

सुनने वाला गौरैया का रुदन।

in the blue sky.

Unmatched waves dancing tirelessly 

in the ocean floor. 

Similarly in our mind and body

unrestricted thoughts flow.

Many rivers come 

from top of the mountains. 

Flowing, buzzing, thundering 

in the world forgets their entity 

and end up in the ocean waters.

See attitude of the trees 

they do not get heat up 

By the sun's heat In the climax of summer

Trees do not get perturbed.

They control their emotions.

They provide comfort to travelers.

While anxiously waiting for rains.

The tree murmur and request us

please do not cut us you are our care taker

We are proud of you. You have given us name, 

you are our protector, Others are our destroyers. 

Birds tell us we flutter and fly high in the sky 

but can not make our home in the sky.

We make our nest on the trees or on the ground.

Birds keep our environment clean and neat.

They entertain us

We love them.

गगन मंडल में असंख्य मनहर 

झिलमिल करते तारे।

सागर पटल में अथक 

नृत्य करती बेमिसाल लहरें।

मानव तन मन में विविध 

विचारों की बहती धाराएँ

उथल पुथल करतीं बेरोक 

टोक मचलती हृदय हमारे।

अनेक नदियॉ ज़ोर शोर से 

आतीं पर्वत शिखरों से,

कोसों बहतीं, गुँजती,

घन नाद करती विश्व कुहर में

उन्मद गति से कर विस्मृत अपना अस्तित्व 

जा मिलती अनन्त में।

सहनशक्ति देखो वृक्षों की,

सूर्य की तपन से तपते उह नहीं करते,

हमें बचाते धूप से देते 

ठंढी छाया स्वयं तपते रहते उष्मा में।

संतुलित रहते वर्षा का करते इन्तज़ार।

हम भी सीखें रहना इनसे समरसता में।

ईश्वर का वरदान है पेड़ हमारी जान है 

हम वृक्ष लगाते बड़ी शानसे 

रक्षा करते इत्मिनान से 

काटता बेदर्दी से कुल्हाड़ी से

वृक्ष कहते मत काटो हमें 

हम तो  तुम्हारी मान जान शान हैं।

तुम्हीं ने हमें नाम दिया 

तुम तो हमारे रक्षक हो, 

हमारे भक्षक अनेक हैं।

उडु़गन उड़ते अम्बर में अपार, 

दरखते वातावरण को सुथरा स्वच्छ।

परिन्दे बताते हमें, हम आसमान में 

उड़ते बुलन्दियों पर हैं ज़रूर 

किन्तु बनाते घरौंदा पृथ्वी पर हम 

आसमान में घर नहीं बना सकते।

Long age has passed, the world is unknown.

 Long age has passed, the world is unknown.

Long age has passed, the world is unknown.

Where did life started and where will it end unknown.

Unknown path rise and fall life untested.

End is hidden in the beginning.

Many mornings have come laughingly

 Days rolled and rolled reached to dusk.

Several springs and autumns came 

Several chow masa (raining season) nourish the earth.

Happiness and sorrows look like cosmetics of the world.

Joys and sorrows are  desire of scorching mind.

Sadness comes like guest spreads in the house.

Happiness comes and open all pores, 

the heart opens like lotus flower.

 Mind is mint of eternal aspirations.

 Neither fragrance of pollen is spread here, 

Nor did accumulated attachment and sacrifices.

I am a small shell in this large ocean of universe

I am not valuable nor my story is distinguished.

उम्र गुज़र गयी सारी विश्व रहा अपरिचित

कहॉ से शुरू हुआ जीवन कहॉ होगा अन्त।

अज्ञात पथ उदय अन्त अलक्षित जीवन। 

आदि में छिपता अवसान।

हँसते खिलते आये अनेक विहान

लुढ़क लुढ़क कर ढ़ल गये प्रदोषकाल।

पतझर आये बसन्त आये आयी कितनी

चौमासे की रिम झिम करती बरसात।

लगता सुख दुख है सृष्टि का श्रृंगार। 

झूमना झुलसना मन के हैं मनोरथ।

दुख आता पाहुन बन पग फैलाता घर ऑगन

सुख आता  रोम रोम करता पुलकित हृदय पटल देता खोल।

मन मेरा अनन्त आकांक्षाओं का टकसाल।

न फैला सौरभ पराग यहॉ न संचित अनुराग विराग y

इस बृहद् भवसागर में मैं हूँ एक छोटी सी सीपी

न मेरा कोई मूल्य यहॉ न मेरी कोई कथा कहानी।
